The sculptural simplicity of theĀ concentric circles allow light to travel through the walls creating an interesting play of shadow and light around the exterior of the piece. Handmade in our Boston studio

Medium 9" H x 9" W

All bowls are food and dishwasher safe.

This bowlĀ is hand thrown with low-fire earthenware. After curing for several days, its form is smoothed and prepped for the carving process. Each perforation is tooled, carved, and cleaned several times in order to create a finished surface. After a bisque firing, it is glazed three or four times and fired a final time.
